Marvel Television's Agatha: The Art of The Series Pushed Back Another Week

April 23rd 2025 Marvel strike again with another delay for Marvel Television's Agatha: The Art of The Series, as it takes another hit and falls into June.
After being delayed just last month, as reported here, the book has been moved from its publishing date of May 27th and will now release on June 3rd. The earliest date planned for the book that this site has tracked is back to April 14th. However, there are some listings that indicate it could have been planned for March, but this is hard to verify as no delay is ever publicly stated. It can be confirmed here that at least 3 delays have taken place so far.
It was just today an article was posted here for the cover reveals of Marvel Studios' Loki Season 2 - The Art of the Series and Marvel Studios' Captain America: Brave New World - The Art of the Movie. In this report I stated that although the covers have been revealed and that the worst of the delays should be over, they can still happen. This was proven only moments after posting, when it was highlighted that this book had just been pushed.
Interestingly, Marvel posted on their own website that the release would be on May 29th before this delay happened, back when the cover was revealed. While it is nice to see Marvel actually promote one of their books, even if it is on the site only, that release date was questionable. For those that aren't aware, almost all artbooks from major publishers, including Marvel, release on a Tuesday. The 29th is a Thursday, so it wasn't surprising to see retailers list the book for the 27th, a Tuesday. It's far from unusual to see Marvel themselves fumble their own artbook, delays and unjustified price increases are a sign of that, but even a simple date should be double checked. It may be this mistake that caused the delay, creating a situation in which retailers picked the 27th, but Marvel wanted it after, rolling it to the following Tuesday for the new date of June 3rd.
The good news is that this time it is only by a week. It shouldn't be too long now until a look at the art behind the wide variety of costumes, the setting of the Witches' Road and more will be in the hands of Agatha fans.
